Sol-T records with the legendary Hochii of Technicali sound on a track called REO NASTY.
"Not only is Hochii one of the deffest emcees I've ever seen live, (he) can keep a crowd moving, and plus he's from my town! His songs are about REAL shit, and make his lyrics aren't written in a minute, or about the same old shit you hear all day on the weak-ass radio... they make you think," says Sol-T.
Sound like a regurgitated review? Not even close. With hits about cheating bitches, like Pool Party, big thinkers and political jams like American Hero, and classic emcee work as heard in his song, Walk that Talk, Hochii is poised for greatness on his new CD, "Bullets Through Speakers"... (Not to mention amazing special guests like LMNO and 2Mex (of the Visionaries), Trek Life, Ariano (also out of the Technicali Camp), and more!
Make sure to pick up a copy of Hochii's album, Bullets Through Speakers by clicking the cd picture below, or contacting him on his Myspace!
Be ready for REO NASTY! It'll be on Sol's Myspace later this week!

New Sol-T Project Info From Kadillac Krush Weekly:
If you're a fan of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, The Rat Pack, Eazy-E, and Too $hort, then look no further. Southern California rapper/musician, Sol-T has teamed up with Scotty B. The Digital Assassin of Beef Productions in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to create a "Big Band Hip-Hop Experience" available on Beef Productions and Buttasopht Musilk in early 2008. If you know Sol-T, you know it's going to be 'different' to say the least, and expect more details to come as the record and sound develops.
"Expect some swanky Dean Martin drinking a little too much type of music on this record," said Sol-T when Mike Masters from KKW approached him about their upcoming project. "I'm excited to be working with such talent and doing this from across two continents and doing it RIGHT is even more fascinating. We're already working on the first three-or-so tracks and they're good times, baby..."

Sol-T Does France and Australia!!!
Sol-T to work a one-album, Big Band - THAT'S RIGHT - BIG Band rockabilly rap record with Beef Productions' Aussie producer, Scotty B. The Digital Assassin!
Scotty is already revving up the classic tracks, said to be a mix of Count Basie and upright basses, crackling snares and tingy ride cymbals! It's that big Aussie underground flavor that made his sound stand out in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
"I'm just a simple hot-rod, rockabilly kid with mad raps and creativity. I live for this kinda Big Band breakthrough shit," said an excited Sol-T when asked about the project.
Sol-T is also working with French Electro Producer PASTEK on a few remixes of Sol-T's Oranje Crusche single!!!Stay tuned lovers, the air gets thick...

Sol continually brings flavor, class and a uniqueness you don’t find much anymore in the world of MCs. Mad props to the OC Weekly. And to all the readers out there, you better keep your eyes and ears open. Sol-T is bringing it back.

SOL-T & 95 Stitches
What started out in as a simple on-the-water recording trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1995, ended in nothing but terror and melee on the big drink... The midsize fishing vessel, The Cat's Meow, that SOL-T [the creator of the "Shitrap" sound] and his friends from various Los Angeles, Long Beach, and OC underground music circles had boarded, was hijacked by a gang of cutthroat water ferals, known as The 95 Stitches...
They had stopped SOL-T and his crew of shylocks during an anchored-down, ultimate booze-binging session and nautical party - claiming that they were the local Haitian Coast Guard - even raising a Haitian flag before approaching them, hoping to board the ship and mix it up a little.
As expected, SOL-T's saxaphone player, and ladies' man extraordinaire, Kennie "Cunkweef" Gee was first to welcome the dread pirates aboard the ship without hesitation, once he saw they came bearing both girls and fine rum...
So while the pirates began boarding ship, the party raged on, as DJ TriZkuT dropped a needle on fresh cut after cut, and blew lightning out of the speakers - causing the boat to sway from left to right - aligned perfectly with the bpm of the background track he was scratching to... Everything was fine, everything was dandy, even the seagulls were happy... That was until a cry for help came shooting from down below, in the galley.
Upon reaching the ship's kitchen and bar, SOL-T and his extended family became witness to a gruesome site: His ex-wench stood there, hunched over and panting - blood spattered on her face and neck, and directly across from her, was one of the undercovers with his throat slashed, painting the billiards table-felt bright burgandy-blue... As SOL-T reached for his Rhymesaber, which was firmly attached to his waist, there was a knock on one of the portholes - it was another one of his crewmembers, pointing at the now-raised skull & crossbones flag on the ship that was knotted to their's... The whole crew knew now, that there was only going to be one way out of this one...
And so the battle began... Licks and lasers, freaks and ballgazers, smack habits and jack rabbits versus crack addicts in black habits... The war of the words and battle of the beat raged on for what seemed to be days... All rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila, ale, wine, and even the water was at its end... It finally came down to the last of the last. Many of SOL-T's cohorts lay dead and gutted on the freshly-scrubbed and blood-spattered deck. Pirate after stinkin' pirate lay hanging and stunkfunk over the edge - at broadside, stern, and bow...
It was at this point that SOL-T decided that he'd had enough of these trashy bastards, who thought they were big name flowfaxers, taking what was rightfully his... He was tired of these punks who felt they were somehow owed something by every musician, just because they had a connection somewhere ashore that granted them some level of abyssal notoriety. In the Western-Pacific waters, these same clowns were the barbacks that wiped SOL-T's black beard with a clean rag after each sip of his ale, in between verses... As SOL-T made his final steps towards the deck and raised his Rhymesaber to the air, the Shitrap Gods smiled and let out a behemothic belch, just as TriZkuT slammed the kickdrum trigger on his MPC-Sampler and knocked the last of the filthy flow-pirates high into the air, off of their ship, and into the black sea...
Four men survived that fateful recording trip on the blackwaters: rhyme-sayer/beatslayer SOL-T, saxapone player Kennie "Cunkweef" Gee, quick-fist DJ TriZkuT, and the guitar-slingin' "Kaziah" Burton... Together they jumped ship on their midsize bucket, and took full control of their adversaries' funky cabin cruiser. The quartet not only took all of the drink, red meat, and imprisoned wenches that were left on the ship, but they also took the maniacal mercenaries' name... The 95 Stitches vowing to bring order and truth to the all that are small on the high streets...

Just thought I'd drop everyone a line, and let you guys know that you can now contact SOL-T once again through the contact page on this site, and that the new Great Angelino Secret album photos and covershots are coming back, as well as the Tours section which was erased, and the forums.
Hope everyone's having a great week, and enjoy the weekend!
Our dear people. It is our unfortunate duty to inform you that the site you've been coming to for SOL-T news, exploded yesterday - April 4th, 2006. Yup, just like a pineapple grenade in 'Nam, this site went down, as our asshole net hosting decided they were going to stop business. Yes. Just up and quit, without warning. Well a half-day warning, and since Mikey was in Mexico during the warning, getting drunk and enjoying the times (as he should be), we were left pretty much screwed, with a capital "D" for dildo. That also meant they didn't give us (or anyone) a chance to grab our most up-to-date files off of their servers...
What this all means is that there are going to be some changes on the site. For the better. Hell, there may even be an entirely new site. It also means that all that you're seeing on the site is from a year ago. We lost all news from an entire year ago. Lost all comments and blogs, songs, as well as photos, and pretty much the forums that we just got done building all over again. What's worse is some of the bugs are back, and will need re-testing to fix.
As you can see, we are now on a new hosting service, but the work remains ahead of us. We're waiting on a new design and re-vamp of the site to go with the new album, The Great Angelino Secret, but we fear that it's gonna be a while.
In the meantime, please feel free to visit and contact SOL-T through Myspace, or if this is a label or club trying to get a hold of us for a sit-down or booking, please use the number we provided you with, as that is the most failsafe method at this point.
Again, we sincerely apologize, and hope that we can get things under way again... For now, you can contact SOL-T using the link provided below, as the contact page on the site is down, as is SOL-T's personal email through the site.
Not to mention new T-Shirts featuring the Suicide-Gun Logo, and the Legs!
In other news, SOL-T is said to have confirmed having one of Hip-Hop's brightest and hypest writers, musicians, and performers, Jud Nester (of Imagination Sound & The Abstract Workshop) as one of the producers for the next album, which is already being recorded!
Jud Nester has worked with the likes of everyone from DJ QUIK, to Prodigy of Mobb Deep, to members of the Wu Tang Clan, and then some...
Be sure and look for their new track, entitled "Sick," available soon! Also be sure and peep here at his own site periodically, to see when it's totally up and fully functional.

Well everyone, this is the new site!
We hope you like the new look and feel. Some of the stuff that you might remember are of course, the Guest Book, Fan-Flow, and the Forum.
Some of the new stuff you might notice are the Songs, Photo and Tours sections. While these are not new, they have new features on them that let you comment on the photo or song, and even rate them on how much you did or did not take a liking to them. So take a look around and play with stuff. Also join the mailing list if you haven't already, on the homepage here!
